The Rochester Garlic Festival is a long-standing tradition – two full days of delicious food and drink, art and craft vendors, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment. Previously run by the Webster Garlic Festival Association, this event is now being hosted by and run by Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester whom all proceeds will benefit. The festival is held at the Webster Recreation Center located at 1350 Chiyoda Drive, Webster, NY, just north of route 104.

To get to the Rochester Garlic Festival take NY route 104 into Webster, exit at 250 North and follow the signs for Event Parking.

Parking is free. Shuttle service will be provided from the parking lot to the festival grounds. Handicap parking will be available on the festival grounds.

Admission to the festival is $5.00 per day (Children 12 & under are free). The admission fee includes free parking, shuttle transportation, musical entertainment, cooking demonstrations, art and craft vendors, food and beverage available for purchase from local food truck vendors and other activities. All admission proceeds benefit Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester.

Yes, in fact we encourage you to!  Kids 12 and under are admitted into the festival for free!  We will have a variety of things for them to do outside including a bounce house and lawn games!  Inside you’ll find a quiet coloring area in one of our party rooms and some classic arcade games in the game room!

We love pets too, cats, dogs and snakes alike! However, pets are not allowed at the festival with the exception of service animals. Service animals are permitted in all areas of the festival.

The Rochester Garlic Festival does offer accommodations for disabled guests. There will be ample handicap parking available for attendees displaying a valid handicapped plate or placard.

The festival will take place both indoors and outdoors so please note that there will be some uneven ground and pavement to grass transition. Handicap accessible restrooms are available.

The festival is held at a facility where there will be booths and attractions both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor booths will be on mostly grass with some compact dirt and asphalt walkways. There will be limited shade with some shade tents with tables and chairs. Prepare for lots of eating, shopping, and walking! For your comfort, we recommend that you:

  • Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking on grass, dirt and asphalt. There may be some uneven ground.
  • Dress in layers. Mornings may be cool but the afternoons tend to warm up!
  • Bring sun protection! You’ll want to enjoy your time in the sunshine so bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
  • Always wear a shirts and shoes! They are both required at all times with no exception.
  • Keep your coolers and other unnecessary items at home! Please note that coolers of any size will not be permitted inside the festival. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the festival grounds.

We have selected a variety of vendors to make your visit memorable! We will have many vendors that specialize in garlic growing or that use garlic in their sellable items! We also have many talented arts vendors, as well as crafters, local business owners, non-profits and specialty food vendors! For a complete listing of vendors, visit our Vendors page.

Yes, there will be an ATM both inside and outside of the building at the festival.  This year the ATM service will graciously be provided by CAP Amusement (link to their website here and please note that a portion of the ATM fees will go to support Challenger Miracle Field.
